Boudoir photography should be an indulgent and relaxing experience.
- It's why I shoot my boudoir clients at the exclusive, luxury wedding venue, Balmule House.
- It's why professional make-up is included in the shoot fee.
- It's why your boudoir session is private and unhurried.
HOW IT WORKS
Your session lasts about 2½ hours but I don't clock-watch - that's just a guide. You spend the first half hour in the capable hands of my lovely make-up artist, Alice, and then we're ready to shoot.
I aim to shoot three sets of lingerie so you can try three completely different looks. Ideally, your underwear will be brand new and it's extremely important that it fits well so you feel relaxed and confident. If you're unsure, bring a stack and we can choose together. Remember that you don't have to reveal everything; a sexy slip, basque or your man's shirt all look great too, so choose the boudoir style that you're most comfortable with.
Don' forget accessories - jewellery, maybe your wedding veil, and the type of shoes you can't walk in - work really well for boudoir.
- Shoot Price: £320 (includes two retouched 7 x 5 prints)
- Boudoir albums can be ordered after your shoot.
BOOKING YOUR SHOOT
Because boudoir is such a personal shoot, I do like to speak to my boudoir clients personally at the booking stage. It's an opportunity for you to ask any questions and to make me aware of any deadlines you have, especially if you intend to buy a boudoir album.
When we've confirmed a date for your shoot, I take a non-refundable £100 booking fee. The balance will be invoiced a few days before your shoot.
After Your Shoot
A reassuring word… I completely respect my clients' privacy so your images will NEVER be used on social media or on my website. The images in my portfolio have been shot with volunteers and one professional model.
