With commercial photography, there's intention behind every image. Commercial images should inform, illustrate or sell, so defining your intention at the outset is important. If you have products to sell, are you looking for a no-nonsense product shot, a 'Ronseal' approach, or, are you selling 'lifestyle' and 'aspiration' alongside your product?
If you're having business head shots done for your team, are you going to need smiling faces looking directly at the camera, or is a documentary approach, showing staff actually working, more appropriate to your business?
It's worth considering how new images will fit with any existing imagery and how they will work on your website - even the decision about landscape vs upright can be important. A little planning at the outset can ensure that you get the maximum mileage out of your imagery. My intention is always to provide my clients (many of whom are small businesses) with the best possible image solutions.
As well as four camera bodies, portable and studio flash systems, prime and zoom lenses, I have a wide angle tilt-shift lens for interiors and a macro lens for ultra-close-up work.

"It is always a delight to delegate photographic challenges to Tracy, safe in the knowledge that she will apply all her expertise and experience to come up with excellent results, both evocative and provocative, which give distinct added value to the commercial objectives involved." Graham Hadley,
Mary Queen of Scots Enterprises
"We've worked with Tracy on a number of different projects, all of which have been a great success. Tracy is fantastic at adapting to any environment and producing shots of a quality that well exceeds what the naked eye would think is possible, fulfilling any brief and much more. When photographing people in particular, Tracy has an ability to make everyone feel completely at ease, which always results in the best possible final product." Robert Duncan, Denvir Marketing
